Who is Stuard Supporters?

Stuard Supporters is a fundraising arm that was created to meet the direct needs of Stuard Elementary School.

What is your plan?

In conjunction with Stuard PTO, our plan is to work closely with Ms. Griffin (Stuard Elementary School’s principal), school staff and parents to ensure their students wants and needs are met. We aim to achieve this by creating supplemental fundraising dollars that can be directly allocated to Stuard. These funds will support specific initiatives, resources, and projects that benefit the school and its students. Our goal is to enhance the educational experience and foster a thriving learning environment

How does this organization differ from PTO?

Stuard Supporters works alongside and receives funding from the Aledo PTO, which raises and distributes funds across all schools in Aledo ISD. While we are incredibly grateful for the PTO’s efforts, Stuard Supporters was created to provide a way for funds raised specifically for Stuard to go directly back to our school. This approach allows businesses and parents to feel confident that their contributions are directly impacting their students’ learning experiences and supporting initiatives unique to Stuard.

How do you plan to use funding?

Stuard Supporters is working closely with Ms. Griffin and the school’s staff to identify and prioritize their needs and goals. Our mission is to ensure that the funds raised directly support initiatives that enhance the educational experience for our students. Some ideas currently being discussed include creating an outdoor garden, developing a STEM lab, adding more outdoor play equipment, and other projects that benefit both learning and play. We are committed to aligning our efforts with the vision of Stuard’s leadership and staff to make a meaningful impact.
